Super Luigi Land - A Luigi-Centric SNES ROM Hack

Super Luigi Land is a fan-made ROM hack of Super Mario World, released in 2018 for the SNES by creator Choconilla. This hack stars Luigi, Mario’s brother, in a reimagined adventure through eight themed worlds, from Flora Fields to Koopa Krater, as he battles Bowser’s forces in the Mushroom Kingdom. With custom mechanics, vibrant visuals, and 108 exits, Super Luigi Land offers a fresh take on the classic platformer, perfect for retro gaming fans.

Why Play Super Luigi Land?

Super Luigi Land swaps Mario for Luigi, introducing unique abilities like higher jumps, straight-shooting fireballs, and wall-jumping, distinct from Super Mario World’s mechanics. With 94 levels across eight worlds, the hack blends familiar Super Mario World gameplay with creative level design and new enemies. Despite some criticism for uneven difficulty and world design, it’s a polished, fun experience for retro ROM enthusiasts and Luigi fans.
